Meeting the One

My time has come to turn into a player and begin attracting women the way I only know how-with desire and longing to meet the one. Is that to say I will find a wife who is accepting of me and that I will have a wife? Is she a charmer? We will only learn those answers in the hours of life. In addition to shooting an arrow with my charm at the right lady, I will fly in the air to become a Cupid. Aspies have the utmost respect for all ladies, but my question is: how do you speak to them? Each lady looks and acts differently. Each of us has our preferences when it comes to looks. One may like curves, while the other does not, or one likes them Hispanic, while the other likes beach blondes. Perhaps one likes Gamora and the other likes Nebula. When it comes to our pickiness, we are all different. Despite my wish, I cannot release that criticism. It feels like tears that are going into black or white parts of the brain and turning into blue on black. Although the water can burn and sometimes ...

Self Help

When everyone needs help, Americans go to someone or something. Not this American though, he only attends himself for help because I only know how I process information. I’ve wondered if simply going to me helps. The answer is a mix, because sometimes I do need someone, I am just too stubborn to admit the necessity. The reason is that I want to try to solve the issue on my own, and I will not stop until the problem is resolved. I never let the worry go, the reason being I choose not to let the difficulty sit and boil. Problems need to be solved at that moment, so no one can hold a grudge with the problem being able to fall off the table. I am the only man that can pull myself out of the dark hole that I did or did not make. I know I am worthy of help from someone, but half the time I can not trust them due to the past I have lived through. It is sad, and I wish others understood that it is not the people who I will meet in the future’s fault, but it is the ones who have used me in the ...

Even if it is Tattooed

By Sam's mom, Gina, on a bad day (which we all have sometimes) I'm sliding The slick platform is one I can't handle. The tar is cozy and it pushes me down further. I want to be the strength of the mine, but I am afraid I can't be any longer. The toll is real. For so long, I have been the ranger convincing myself that things will be okay. As I sit here, I still believe they will be. What what will become of me? Easy is not what I want. I want to breathe, like really breathe. Things working out only goes so far. A long way in my mind, but not in the others. I feel like a liar. Be You. It's tattooed on my arm for God's Sake. But what I say in those interviews are not the truth sometimes. He is okay, but okay comes with unfairness and fucking pain. Screaming from the mountaintops, be okay, would feel great, but moot at this point. My chest burns with screams because I can't fix it. I never did. ~Gina Mitchell

Being a Monster

ROAR! That is the most common sound of a monster. I am a monster, but a funny and safe monster with the strongest brain. The reason being is that I have never played someone I’ve never been. While it was a pain not to play dress-up, I still kept becoming myself one year and age at a time. The burden of trying to cure a misconception plague is hard some days, but I enjoy every second of it because I get to show everyone what hidden gems I design. My happiness comes from humans opening their eyes to realize that we should be looked at seriously and when that happens as our inner monsters shine and make sounds of excitement. When you put the red light on us for too long, then we will be granted the potential to flip the light and turn it green. I might have certain references. I am still at the end of the day my monster. Furthermore, I do my best to practice what I preach, but it seems as if my inner monster cannot handle the pressure, which leads him to blow. Our brain cannot sometimes g...

A Rigid Conversation

Envision yourself as a person who has a bright future, but then get diagnosed with autism at a young age, and you develop a lack of conversational skills when one of the requirements in society is discussing with someone. Now, I do not converse with any male or female easily because I have the tendency to talk about what I only want to, and it leads people the wrong way. I have never been able to figure out the reason, but at the end of the day, I brush the dust off, and I reclaim my territory. My voice is an attribute even though society may not agree. I have myself and others who would disagree with most of the human population. Each day before I go to bed I make sure that I lit my torch to know that I am here as well, so why are you not letting me in while giving me a chance at my redemption? When I am conversing with someone, the person who saves me from fainting is me. The reason is no one knows how I talk to someone one hundred percent as I go off-topic too much along with coming...

Autism Presented in a Closet

Autism Presented in a Closet A story about triumph - kind of By Sam Mitchell When you open a closet, you see many items, such as fancy heels and men's buttoned-up shirts. That is nothing compared to what is in my closet. Each shelf is made of light and darkness. One shelf has a music therapy shelf. It has many pieces of music that have helped me cope, from Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley to Legacy by Eminem. In the closet, there are so many bins of comments that have haunted me that I still have night terrors from them. However, I’ve learned it is time to stop caring and to throw the comments in the garbage. You must accept yourself and your hobbies, no matter what they are, from the most practical to the most unusual. In my closet, you are accepted no matter if you are straight or even have purple skin. You are welcomed with open arms in my closet. It may seem trashy because of the pain, but my pain has created the most amazing picture that I’ve ever seen. Each time I say or do so...
